BERLIN -- India's cinematic and culinary cuisine is coming to the city of Stuttgart next month for the 4th annual Bollywood and Beyond film festival, which kicks off with John Jeffcoat's "Outsourced."

I'm planning to attend the festival along with Ayesha Dharker and Josh Hamilton. It will be the first time they've seen each other since we finished shooting and the first festival screening Josh will have attended. He's been tied up in Tom Stoppard's "Coast of Eutopia" until just recently.

It will be the first time any of us have been to Germany, I'm looking forward to it!

"It was like a feeding frenzy," he recalled, laughing. "People were going crazy trying to get tickets. It was weird!"

SIFF News: Seattle Filmmakers Outsourced to India!

"We're both fighting that push to go to L.A.," says John Jeffcoat of himself and his writing partner, George Wing. The two have lived up here in Seattle for the past dozen-odd years, trying to make a living in the movie biz, without much to show for their efforts locally. Until now, since Outsourced, the first feature directed by Jeffcoat, plays SIFF this week.
