"Outsourced" filmmaker brings the buzz home

Seattle filmmaker John Jeffcoat, whose comedy "Outsourced" is making its local debut at SIFF, stands in the shadow of some of his older work.
Seattle filmmaker John Jeffcoat first learned that his comedy "Outsourced" had buzz last fall, at the Toronto International Film Festival. For the third and final screening of his film (all of which were sold out), Jeffcoat had some extra tickets, so he went down to the rush-tickets line to give them away. "It was like a feeding frenzy," he recalled, laughing. "People were going crazy trying to get tickets. It was weird!"Read the entire article here:
