Seattle Magazine Jeffcoat Interview

Datebook: A Passage to India

This past June, writer, director and Magnolia resident John Jeffcoat took home SIFF’s Golden Space Needle Award (which goes to the festival’s most popular movie) for his first feature film, Outsourced—a colorful, cross-cultural romantic comedy that lampoons the trend of outsourcing U.S. jobs to India. Local distributor ShadowCatcher Entertainment is prepping Outsourced, which was filmed in Seattle, for national release at the end of September, so we figured we’d pester its director with our not-so-Bernard Piveau-ian questionnaire before he becomes too famous to speak to us.
