Director John Jeffcoat was awarded the John Schlesinger Award for an Outstanding First Feature at the Palm Springs film Festival.
"Another of the audience's favorites was "Outsourced," selected by Macdonald and his programmers for the festival's opening-night gala. Its director, John Jeffcoat, also received the John Schlesinger Award for Outstanding First Feature, selected by the programmers and presented by Schlesinger's long-time partner, photographer Michael Childers."

Congratulations, John! This is well-deserved and I can't help but notice you were up against some stiff competition - the directors of Little Miss Sunshine, Inconvenient Truth, etc. I hope you thanked Kali in your acceptance speech.
