Outsourced in Germany

On April 10th Outsourced will hit theaters in Germany. Our German friends have been busy dubbing the film in German in preperation for the release and for a sample of their handiwork check out the German-language trailer and website here: German Website

There will be a German premiere in Berlin on April 9th. Actor Josh Hamilton (Todd Anderson) and director / co-writer John Jeffcoat will be there for the event. Stay tuned for more details and photos from the event!

Outsourced on KEXP

Tuesday, March 4th director John jeffcoat will be a guest on Darek Mazzone's world music show WOPOP, on Seattle's greatest radio station KEXP. If you're in Seattle you can tune in a 7pm at 90.3 on the FM dial. For those of you outside Seattle you can tune in on the internet at KEXP.org. The show will also be archived on the website in case you miss it live.

Jeffcoat will be playing his favorite tracks from the Outsourced soundtrack including other songs that inspired the soundtrack and Bollywood favorties!

Opening Night at the Spokane Film Festival

Outsourced Returns to Seattle

If you live in the Seattle area, you've got another chance to see Outsourced on the big screen. Friday, January 18th we opened at the Totem Lake Cinemas in Kirkland.

Yes, it's true. Heath Ledger has great taste in movies. He was recently spotted with his new girlfriend attending a screening of 'Outsourced' in Perth, Australia as reported in Life & Style Weekly Magazine.

The dawn of the Seattle film industry: For all the indie filmmaking activity Seattle has spawned over the past three decades, the sad truth is that, until this year, the city had never produced a homegrown film that has made any noticeable impact on the larger movie world. But in '07, two Seattle films earned national distribution: "Zoo" and "Outsourced." The latter, which won the top prize at this year's SIFF, was the more significant because it was an inspired romantic comedy that was as entertaining as anything the studios had to offer in the same release period, and thus could compete with Hollywood on its own terms. Its producers' decision to turn down Miramax's distribution offer and self-release the film in partnership with chains around the country also created a template that has the potential to break the tyranny of the distributor and change the way indie films reach the public.
